Choose how you sign in, how long iyedy keeps you signed in, and end the sessions you do not recognise.

Your iyedy account holds your diagrams and opens every workspace you belong to. These steps take five minutes and cover what protects it: how you sign in, how long a session lasts, and what to do if a browser you do not know is signed in.

Before you start

  • Sign in at app.iyedy.com. The sign-in page is always on auth.iyedy.com: check the address before you type a password.
  • In an organisation that uses single sign-on, your company's sign-in decides most of this page: its password rules, its second factor and how long you stay signed in. Follow its rules (Set up single sign-on).

Choose how you sign in

Way What to know
E-mail and password Your password needs at least 15 characters, and it cannot be your e-mail address. A few words you will remember work well.
Google You sign in with your Google account; iyedy never sees your Google password.
Passkey The sign-in page offers Sign in with a passkey when your browser supports passkeys.
Your organisation's single sign-on Type your work address: iyedy sends you to your company's sign-in.

Forgot your password? On the password step, select Forgot password?. iyedy sends a link to your address; the answer is the same whether or not the address has an account.

Set up your account

  1. Use a long password, or Google

If you sign in with a password, make it long and use it only for iyedy. A password manager can make one for you.

  2. Keep me signed in only on your own device

On the sign-in page, Keep me signed in keeps your session up to 14 days without activity, and 90 days at most. Leave it unticked on a shared computer: the session then ends after 30 minutes without activity.

  3. Review your sessions

Select your avatar in the top bar (Account), then Account settings…. Under Your data, My sessions lists every browser signed in to your account, this one first, with the day each was last used.

Select End next to a session you do not recognise, or End the other sessions to sign out everywhere else.

You are done when My sessions lists only browsers you know, and the app says “Session ended.” for each one you ended.

How long a session lasts

You signed in with The session ends after
E-mail and password 30 minutes without activity
E-mail and password, with Keep me signed in 14 days without activity, and 90 days at most
Google 30 minutes without activity, and 12 hours at most
Your organisation's single sign-on 30 minutes without activity and 12 hours at most, or less if your organisation says so

To sign out of this browser, open the account menu and select Sign out.

If something looks wrong

  1. End the other sessions (step 3 above).
  2. Change your password with Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
  3. Write to support@iyedy.com from your account's address, with the time and what you saw. To report a flaw in iyedy itself, see Report a vulnerability.

If it doesn't work

“That e-mail and password don’t match. Check both, reset your password, or wait a few minutes and try again.”

The address or the password is wrong, or there were too many attempts: after 10 failures, iyedy makes you wait, a little longer each time, up to 15 minutes. Wait a few minutes, or reset your password with Forgot password?.

“Use at least 15 characters.”

Your new password is too short. Use at least 15 characters; a short sentence works.

iyedy sends me to my company's sign-in

Your address belongs to an organisation that signs in through its own single sign-on. Sign in there; for a problem with it, ask your company's IT team.
