Integrations
What iyedy connects to today (Jira issues with their status, views embedded in Confluence, Microsoft Teams or any page) and what it does not do.
On this page
iyedy's integrations follow one idea: your diagrams stay in iyedy, and other tools show links to them or pictures of them. Nothing is installed from a marketplace, and iyedy never reads your Jira or Confluence content beyond what it needs to show a status.
Link work items
Hang a Jira issue, or a link to any tracker (ServiceNow, Azure Boards, GitHub, or any https address), on an element, a relationship, a view, a finding, a decision, a review thread or the whole diagram. Reviewers see where the work stands without leaving the diagram. When your Jira site is connected, each Jira key shows its live status, summary, type and assignee. See Link Jira issues.
Embed a view
From the Share sheet, create an embed link for one view of a diagram: a read-only picture that follows the saved diagram, with pan and zoom, for a time you choose (90 days at most). Paste it in:
Confluence
With the Iframe macro, in Confluence Cloud or Data Center.
Microsoft Teams
As a tab of a channel, with the iyedy app for Teams.
Any website
As an iframe in any page, or through oEmbed.
Read-only public links
A whole diagram for anyone with the link, without framing it in another site.
Embeds show only diagrams classified up to the ceiling your organisation sets, Internal by default, never Restricted ones, and only on the sites you allow.
Send items to a tracker
From the To do basket and the review, findings and other items can be sent to Jira or GitHub. By default, iyedy opens the tracker's own create page, filled with the item, its version and a link back; you send it there, signed in as yourself, and iyedy keeps no password or key.
What iyedy does not do
- No webhooks. iyedy does not call your systems when a diagram changes. Your jobs call iyedy through the public API.
- No GitHub app and no pull-request bot. Keep diagrams in step with a repository from your CI, with the API and a service account.
- No store listing. iyedy is not on the Atlassian Marketplace or in the Microsoft Teams store: embeds use plain web standards.
- No Jira content in your diagrams. iyedy shows a status next to a link; it does not copy issues into the model.
What this means for you
Use work-item links to tie a design to the work that delivers it, and embed links to put the current picture where your team already reads. Both are cheap to undo: remove the link, or revoke the embed, and it stops at once.
