Find and organise diagrams
The Library is the list of your diagrams. Search it by name, tag or element, filter it by status or view type, star what you use every day, and move to the trash what you no longer need. The trash keeps diagrams for 30 days.

Before you start
Open the Library: press Ctrl K and run Open library. On a personal account it lists your diagrams; in an organisation, the diagrams of the workspace you can open.
Find a diagram
- Search
Press / or select Search the library, then type claims. The search covers names, descriptions, tags and the names of the elements inside the diagrams, so Claims Service finds the Claims Platform too.
- Narrow it
Pick a scope: All, Starred, Recent or Trash; in an organisation also All in the workspace and Mine. Then a filter: Status, Classification, Family, View types or Tags. You can also type the filter in the search box, for example tag:pii or owner:me.
- Open it
Select the row, or switch to Grid to see each diagram's miniature. Clear filters brings the full list back.
Keep the Library tidy
- Star the diagrams you open every day: open the row's menu and choose Star; they gather under Starred.
- Rename or duplicate from the same menu: Rename, Duplicate.
- Clean up: open More, then Clean up…. iyedy groups the diagrams that look unused: Empty, Untouched (never changed since they were created, more than a day ago) and Duplicates (same elements, relationships and views under another name). Nothing is deleted there: select diagrams and choose Move to trash.
- Folders: when your library has folders, Move to folder… files a diagram; sharing a folder shares every diagram in it.
Free keeps 5 diagrams you can edit. Moving one to the trash frees its place at once.
Move to the trash, restore
- Move a diagram to the trash
Open the row's menu and choose Move to trash. iyedy says Moved ‘Claims Platform v0’ to the trash. Only the owner of a diagram can move it to the trash.
- Restore it
Select Trash. Open the diagram's menu and choose Restore, or tick several and choose Restore selected.
In the trash, Delete forever deletes the diagram and its history for everyone who has access to it. iyedy asks you to confirm. Files you exported before stay as they are. A diagram left in the trash is deleted after 30 days.
If it doesn't work
“Nothing matches ‘claims’”
A scope or a filter is still set. Select Clear filters, then All, and search again. A diagram in the trash shows only under Trash.
“Only the owner can move this diagram to the trash.”
Someone else owns this diagram: ask them, or an owner of the workspace. You can still remove it from your Starred list.
A diagram I had is gone
Look under Trash: it keeps diagrams for 30 days. If it is not there, it may have been shared with you and the access withdrawn; ask its owner.
