Instant answers, free and without AI
Not every answer needs the AI. When iyedy can compute the answer from your diagram itself, it does so in your browser. Those answers are tagged Instant, cost no credits and send nothing.

What runs without AI
The app lists them on What the Assistant can do, under Without AI, in your browser:

You do not have to choose: when your words match one of these, the Assistant answers it this way. The card is tagged Instant and says Computed in your browser. Nothing was sent; no credits.
Why it matters
- It is free. No credits, on every plan, as often as you like.
- Nothing leaves iyedy. No part of the diagram goes to an AI service. This is why instant tools also work on a diagram classified above what the Assistant may read.
- It is exact. The answer comes from the model itself, the same way every time; nothing is guessed.
- It keeps working when the AI is off in your workspace, and when you are offline: the panel says so and keeps these tools.
The checks run without AI
The checks are instant too: dozens of deterministic rules run in your browser on every change, without AI and without credits. The review shows it, for example 36 rules run without AI on v14. An Assistant review, which uses AI, adds its own findings to the same list. See Check rules.
Suggestions
Under the box, the Assistant may offer up to three suggestions of what to do next. They are computed from your diagram, free, and nothing is sent to compute them. Turn them off in the Assistant settings with Show suggestions.
What this means for you
- On Free, use instant tools first: describe a view, run the checks, look at the STRIDE starting points, then spend credits on the question that needs reasoning.
- On a confidential or restricted diagram, instant tools give you an outline, the findings and the dependencies without sending anything.
- In an organisation that keeps the AI off, these tools are what the Assistant panel offers.
