Credits and credit packs
Credits pay for the Assistant's AI work, and only for that. One credit is worth US$0.01. The checks, Instant answers, drawing, sharing and exporting never use credits.
On this page
1 credit = US$0.01 of AI processing. The Assistant tells you about how many credits a request takes, and how many you have left, before it starts. When your credits run out, the Assistant stops; everything else keeps working.

Monthly credits do not carry over: the next month's credits replace what is left. Pack credits last 12 months.
- Welcome credits need a verified address. An address from a disposable e-mail service gets none.
- Pro and Pro+ bought as a consumer: at the order you can ask for the service to start at once. Without that request, the first month's credits arrive when the 14-day withdrawal period ends.
How the Assistant spends credits
- Before: the Assistant estimates the cost of a request and shows it, with what you have left.
- During: the request reserves its estimate; a long task checks your balance at each step and stops cleanly, keeping what it found, when nothing is left.
- After: you pay what the work actually cost, at least 1 credit. What the estimate reserved and did not use goes back to you.
- Not charged: an answer the server could not give, such as an error on our AI model provider's side or an empty answer.
- Order: the credits that expire first are used first, so pack credits keep while your monthly credits last.
Coming soonOnly your credits left limit the Assistant, with no daily count of requests.
What uses no credit
- the checks, which are rules without AI;
- Instant answers, computed in the page;
- drawing, editing, versions, reviews, comments, sharing and exports;
- the Assistant used with your own AI key, on the plans that allow one.
The Team pool
On Team, the credits of every seat go into one pool the whole organisation shares. By default one member may use up to 40% of the month's pool. A seat added during the month adds its share of credits for the days left; removing a seat never takes credits back. Each member sees their own use; owners and billing administrators also see the use of each member.
Credit packs
A pack adds 500 credits for 11.99 € excl. VAT, valid 12 months.
- Who can buy one: Pro, Pro+ and Team, a Team in its free trial included. Not on Free, not during a Pro free trial (packs come once the subscription has started), not on Enterprise.
- How: in Plan and billing…, select Buy credits, tick the box that asks for immediate delivery, then pay on Stripe's page.
- Withdrawal: because the credits are delivered at once, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once they are delivered. The box says so.
- On Team: pack credits join the team's pool.
Where to see your credits
- Home, under Usage: your plan and your credits.
- The account menu: Assistant credits… on your own, Your share of the credits… in an organisation, and AI usage… for the detail by day, diagram and feature.
- Plan and billing…: the credits available, and See usage.
When credits run out
The Assistant says so and stops before it starts a request it cannot pay. Drawing, the checks and Instant answers keep working. On Free, upgrade to Pro; on Pro, Pro+ or Team, buy a pack or wait for the next month's credits. See Upgrade, change or cancel.
