Upgrade, change or cancel
Your plan is yours to change at any time, from the app. Moving up is charged today, pro rata; moving down takes effect at the next renewal; cancelling is one click and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
On this page
Before you start
- Who can do it: the owner of the account, or its billing administrator. Everything happens in Plan and billing…, in the account menu at the top right.
- What you see: under Your plan, the plan you pay, its period, its renewal date and your credits.
Upgrade from Free
- Open Plan and billing
Select your name or picture at the top right, then Plan and billing…
- Choose the period and the plan
Under Billing period, choose Monthly or Yearly. Then select Choose Pro or Choose Pro+.
- Read the order summary
iyedy shows the order: who buys (you, or your business, which then gives its VAT number), the price before VAT and the VAT, and the boxes to tick. As a consumer, you can ask for the service to start now; without that request, the first month's credits arrive after the 14-day withdrawal period.
- Pay
Select the order button. Stripe's page takes the payment, then brings you back to iyedy.
Switch between Pro and Pro+, or monthly and yearly
- Open Change plan
In Plan and billing…, under Your plan, select Change plan.
- Pick the new plan
Under New plan, choose for example Move to Pro+ or Switch to yearly. iyedy asks our payment provider for the exact amount and shows it: Excl. VAT, the VAT, then Total incl. VAT to pay today, with the unused part of your current plan already deducted.
- Confirm
Tick the boxes and select the order button.
- Moving up (Pro to Pro+, monthly to yearly) is charged today, pro rata. Once paid, the credits of the new plan for the days left are added to this month.
- Moving down (Pro+ to Pro, yearly to monthly) costs nothing today: the change takes effect at the next renewal and you keep your plan until then. Credits already received are kept. To keep your current plan after all, select Cancel the change.
- If your current price is no longer sold, iyedy tells you before you confirm: after the change you cannot come back to it.
Cancel
- Select Cancel subscription
In Plan and billing…, under Your plan, select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm
Confirm on the page that opens. If a move down was scheduled, iyedy shows its own confirmation, with the end date and the scheduled change that will be dropped: select Confirm cancellation.
You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing more is charged. A confirmation arrives by e-mail. After that date you are on Free: the 5 diagrams you changed most recently stay editable, the others become read-only, and nothing is deleted. See Limits by plan.
Withdraw within 14 days
As a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a Pro or Pro+ order, or from a move up, within 14 days. In Plan and billing…, select Withdraw…: iyedy shows what you paid and the refund, then Confirm withdrawal.
- If you asked for the service to start at once, the part already provided is deducted from the refund.
- Withdrawing from an order stops the plan at once and removes its remaining credits. Withdrawing from a move up brings back your former plan, on the same terms.
- Purchases made for a business have no 14-day withdrawal right.
Team and Enterprise
A team's plan and seats are in the organisation's settings: Organisation… in the account menu, then Plan and billing. See Manage seats. An Enterprise plan changes through its contract: write to contact@iyedy.com.
If it doesn't work
“Your subscription ends on …: it can no longer be changed.”
You already cancelled. You keep the plan until that date. To change plan after it ends, choose a plan again from Free.
“The amount has changed: check it before ordering.”
The amount moved between the preview and your order, for example because a day passed. Read the new amount, then confirm again.
There is no Plan and billing… in my menu
Only the account's owners and billing administrators see it. In an organisation, ask one of them, or look under Organisation… if you are one.
