Invoices and VAT
Every price in iyedy is before VAT. The VAT is added on top at checkout, at the rate that applies to you, and your invoice shows the price, the VAT and the total. Your invoices are in Plan and billing.

Before you start
- Who sees invoices: the account's owner or billing administrator. For your own plan, that is you.
- Where: Plan and billing… in the account menu for a personal plan; Organisation…, then Plan and billing for a team.
Find and download an invoice
- Open Plan and billing
Select your name or picture at the top right, then Plan and billing… (for a team: Organisation…, then Plan and billing).
- Open the invoice
Under Invoices, select the invoice you want. It opens on Stripe's page, where you can download it as a PDF.
Manage billing opens Stripe's customer page, which also lists every invoice and lets you change your payment method.
How VAT works
- Prices are before VAT. iyedy shows every price excluding VAT first, for example 19.99 € excl. VAT / month.
- The VAT is added on top at checkout. Stripe computes it from your country and from whether you buy as a person or as a business, and shows the exact total before you pay.
- For a consumer, the app also shows, on a smaller line, the price including the French VAT rate, as an indication.
- A business in another EU country that gives its VAT number pays no VAT: the reverse charge applies, and the invoice carries the reverse charge mention with both VAT numbers.
- Outside the EU, when no tax is due, none is charged.
Buy as a business
When you order Pro or Pro+, choose to buy for your business: Stripe asks for your company's VAT number and address, and you accept the data processing agreement. A Team plan is always a business purchase. Business purchases have no 14-day withdrawal right.
Change your card or payment method
In Plan and billing…, select Manage billing. On Stripe's page, add or replace your card. After a failed payment, the banner's Update the payment leads to the same place.
Refunds
A refund, after a withdrawal for example, is made through a credit note on the invoice concerned. The credit note shows in your invoices, and Stripe returns the money to the card you paid with.
Enterprise
Enterprise invoices can carry your purchase order number. See Enterprise.
If it doesn't work
“No invoice yet.”
No payment has been made on this account yet: during a free trial, for example, there is nothing to invoice. The first invoice appears after the first payment.
“The invoices cannot be read right now.”
iyedy could not reach Stripe. Try again in a moment, or open Manage billing, which lists the invoices too.
My VAT number is not on the invoice
The VAT number is asked when you buy as a business. If you bought as a person and need a business invoice, write to support@iyedy.com with the invoice number.
