Review and sharing
A version of a diagram ends in one of two ways. On your own, you sign it off yourself and may ask someone for an opinion first. In an organisation, colleagues review it and give their verdicts. Sharing decides who reads it on the way.

How review works
Author sign-off, opinions, reviews with approvers, and the six status stamps.
I was invited to give my opinion
Open the link you received, comment, give your opinion. Free, no paid plan needed.
Review
Sign off your own version
Read the checks, then sign off the current version of a diagram in My diagrams. It becomes Approved, signed off by you.
Ask a guest for an opinion
Before you sign off, ask a person who has access to read the version and give an opinion. Their opinion is recorded; the sign-off stays yours.
Request a review
In an organisation, ask approvers to review a version: who reviews, how many approvals, by when, and what is decided in one sentence.
Review and sign off a version
You were asked to approve a version. Read it on one page, comment where needed, then approve, approve with a condition or request changes.
Comment on a view
Comment on an element, a relationship or a view, mention someone with @, reply, then resolve the thread once it is settled.
Status stamps
The six stamps a version of a diagram can carry: Draft, In review, Changes requested, Approved, Withdrawn and Superseded, and what sets each one.
Sharing
Share a diagram
Invite a person to view, comment on or edit one diagram, by e-mail, with an end date if you want one. What each plan allows, and how to take access back.
Read-only public links
Show a Public diagram to anyone, without an account, for 90 days at most. Create the link, copy it once, see when it was opened, remove it.
